Music is a good form of entertainment for both young and old. It is sometimes played on record players or cds, even i-pods.

The range of music is really quite broad. Whereas some people like slow intelligent music, others prefer music that is fast and brainless. Within the speed is the style. People from middle class backgrounds prefer jazz or opera. Whereas unemployed people like punk rock or goth.

Music can also be seperated into good music and bad music. Elvis and Brahms are examples of good music. Robbie Williams is a very good example of bad music. There is another level of music called "please dont play that" which includes Mariah Carey.

Music is oten used as an instrument of pleasure and entertainment, but in the wrong hands music is less stable. It is recommended that music be played only if the need requires it and only then with supervision.
